Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is a Hollywood writer and actress whose talent has earned her recognition and critical acclaim. Sagittarius in birth and born on the 3rd of December of 1960 on the state of North Carolina. She's the oldest of three siblings. She was born to Peter Moore Smith who was the paratrooper. The mother of her child Anne works as a psychotherapist. She's English and Scottish heritage. Moore moved frequently with her family due to the job for her father. This was a challenge to maintain or make new friends. When her family moved to Germany Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School where she started appearing in performances. When she completed her B.F.A. at Boston University in 1983, Moore continued her studies. A thesis on Theater. Moore started her acting career off-Broadway in New York, after she completed her degree. She made her screen debut in 1985 with an episode in the show The Edge of Night. It was in 1986 that she portrayed the two characters of Sabrina Hughes (Frannnie) and Frannie Hughes (Sabrina Hughes). It was her big breakthrough. In 1988, she was a part-time actor in the show and received a Daytime Emmy Award. The year 1990 saw her first cinematic appearance was in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The film was later criticized as a poor low-budget film. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions by Altman (1997) were among her movies. The latter production, for which she won several awards and the acclamation of critics. Moore received her first film role as a lead for the film Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg's choice to cast Moore in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, one of the most successful films of 1997, was a significant change in her career. The film she starred in was Magnolia (1999) that received a favourable review and earned a SAG nod for her role. The Hours was her co-starring part in 2002. it received nine Academy Award nominations with Nicole Kidman. More films Moore was a part of include The Forgotten (2004) Freedomland (2006) Shelter (2010) as well as Shelter. Non-Stop premiered in the year 2014. Moore has been on numerous television and film shows. Her most recent starring roles is In 2022: When You Finish Securing the World. Her career as an actress in Hollywood is well established and she is also a published children's novelist. The first novel she wrote Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007, and was a bestseller on the The New York Times. The book became a best seller, and was later made into a TV series as well as musical. Moore also published My Mom is Foreigner in 2013, a memoir in 2013. Moore has a public life as a renowned writer and actress. She was married in 1984 to John Robin and in 1995 they divorced. Moore has two children along with Bart Freundlich whom she later was married to in 2003. Moore's focus is on her friends, family as well as her career.
