Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel (born December 2 1998) is an American actress. Her performances include daytime television, episodic guest performances, and movies made for TV. Sofer has been awarded a Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for her role in the role of Lois Cerullo of the soap drama General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap production The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 until 2022.
Early life
Sofer was the daughter Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) She was an Orthodox Rabbi, and Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).
In 1970, she relocated in 1970 to Teaneck, New Jersey with her brother David and father. They lived in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. They resided in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father led Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish highschool in Paramus (New Jersey). Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was rabbi of Temple Beth El. After having graduated from North Bergen High School she went on to Montclair State College.
Career
Television during the daytime
Lois Marie Cerullo was Lois Marie Sofer's first character in General Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993, as a musician manager. Her first television role was as Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap drama about Loving (1988-91).
